I wish you were in the area and could speak at our IAAP Pikes Peak Chapter meetings!!!! I have been searching for helpful sites and online newsletters that would be of interest to administrative assistants, and yours is by far the very best I've found!"

We enjoy receiving articles from others. Please read the following guidelines before submitting.

COPE is a free, monthly publication now in its third year, with over 2400 subscribers. We're now growing an average of 100 new subscribers per month. Subscribers range from analysts at Gartner to sales professionals at IBM to administrative assistants at Fortune 100s to homemakers.

If you have 200-275 word articles that will help busy professionals and business owners work smarter, please submit them to the E-mail address below only as a Word attachment. You will retain all copyrights, and will receive a byline with a live link to your Website or E-mail. Please do not send us links to sites for us to check out, or PDFs for us to scroll through. They will be deleted, und. Articles that are too long will be deleted upon receipt.

Please send no more than two articles in one E-mail.

Please read several issues of COPE first to make sure your article fits our style and content. Warm and fuzzy articles aren't usually accepted. This is a business publication, and articles should be business- or technology-related. The only exception is the Did You Know section, which can be about anything. Occasionally, COPE topics will cover home-related issues that affect the workplace (e.g., organizing your closet so you can get out of the house on time).

Your article should:

  • Be your property, written by you.

  • Contain 200-275 well-written words, free of spelling and grammatical errors.

  • Be written in plain English that most people will easily understand (free of industry jargon).

  • Be content-rich, not a sales pitch.

  • Have matching titles and filenames (include your name in the filename).

  • Be single-spaced, hopefully with one space after each period.

  • Contain a byline (20 words or less) you'd like included with the article and your Website link.

No compensation is given, which is why you'll receive a byline with a live link to your Website or E-mail.
