Whether you know it or not, we're all in sales. Learn new sales skills or brush up on old ones. From cold calling to self-promotion, we're bringing in the experts to show you how!

You'll find the answers you've been looking for at our next event. Absolute experts who normally charge thousands of dollars a day are coming together to help SCORE Atlanta reduce Georgia's small business failure rate. It's 6 percent above the national average!

According to the SBA, the top three reasons businesses fail is mismanagement, misspent marketing dollars, and insufficient cash flow. We're going to change that!

"I truly appreciate what you are doing to help us
build a better tomorrow...the best business owner
we can be. The conference was conducted in the
most professional manner."

Michelle Hadida, Michelle's Creative Living

Gerald Baron
The Sales SurgeonTM

Cure for the Common Cold Call

Cold calling is often the last thing that a salesperson or business owner wants to do. This seminar shows you how to turn cold calling into a rewarding experience.

This session focuses on providing the tools and techniques you need to fill your pipeline with quality leads. It focuses on producing higher quality calls rather than larger quantities of calls. You learn how to get to the right person by talking to a live person because You Can't Sell to Voicemail

The Sales Surgeon will help you discover how to operate for maximum success!

  • Learn how to leverage other people to reach the focal point
(i.e., the person you really want to talk to).

  • Discover how to "warm up" cold calls.

  • Find out how to get the focal point on the phone.

  • Acquire techniques for generating interest in your offering
on the part of the focal point.

The Sales Surgeon™ uses the principles of medicine to teach effective sales and leadership skills.  His programs designed to promote healthy business and eradicate flatlined revenues or profits include:

Cure for the Common Cold Call
Cure for the Hyperactive Discount Gland
Cure for the Constipated Sales Cycle™
Cure for the Premature Demo Syndrome
Cure for the Anemic Pipeline
Cure for the Bloated Forecast™

Prior to becoming The Sales Surgeon, Gerry spent 3 years in executive management roles leading global marketing and product management for Magnet Communications, Inc. Before joining Magnet, Gerry spent 4 years managing the global sales, professional services, and customer support departments for S2 Systems, Inc. Gerry was a sales leader at S2 Systems before being promoted into executive management; he consistently exceeded 135% of quota for 2 years as he sold complex software and service solutions into the retail, banking, healthcare, and travel industries. He spent 2 years managing Computoen Corporation’s European distributors before joining S2 Systems, Inc. In that time he grew the revenues of his region by 40%.

Gerry earned his B.S. at MIT. Visit him online at www.theSalesSurgeon.com.

Bob Littell
Chief NetWeaver

NetWeaving

A NetWeaver is a person who constantly looks for opportunities to "connect people with other people" for their benefit, and to "provide gratuitous resources" to others - and to do both with the belief and conviction that, "what goes around. . .will come back around."

In this session, Bob will teach you the skills you need to create win-win-win opportunities with the people you connect with. He'll then lead you in a breakout session so you can start the process while you're at the conference surrounded by so many people who have your same dreams and aspirations.

Robert S. (Bob) Littell has owned and operated a large brokerage wholesale agency, and served as the Chairman of that group's national organization (NAILBA), as well as served on the national board of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He provides consulting services at the Home Office level on strategic planning, marketing and distribution issues, product design, development and implementation.

Bob is also a sought-after speaker at both a local and national level on a variety of timely topics within the entire spectrum of the Financial Services industry, especially on distribution, underwriting, and technology issues. He regularly authors articles within the Financial Services industry as well as contributes to many of the major consumer financial publications.

But Bob's passion today is the word and concept he created - NetWeaving. Although Bob spend about 80% of his time on activities related to NetWeaving, 100% of revenues generated in these activies are donated to Junior Achievement or other charities.

If you come early for the event, the parking attendant may not be there. If that's the case, pull all the way up to the gate and push the intercom. The inside guard will raise the gate. Don't push the button expecting a ticket. Only push the intercom. Parking is free when the guard is not there.
