This training is for people who are already experienced in common features of their software such as cut and paste. We’ll explore beginning PowerPoint, and will take you all the way to advanced multimedia features such as adding sound. We’ll focus on the features you’ll use the most every day, as well as features that will save you the most time.  

You'll boost your productivity as we explore powerful, little known tips and tricks in this easy-to-learn software.

You will not be herded into a massive meeting room with hundreds of other people. You're hands-on and will learn more from doing in a smaller, more intimate setting from an instructor who uses the software every day.

WHY IS THE PRICE SO LOW?
Some people think a class has to be expensive to be worth attending. Not so! Our classes don't cost hundreds of dollars because we've figured out a better way.

Our training sessions are small and intimate. We don't need to hire an event staging company, a destination management firm, or other expensive support teams. We've thought through the process, streamlined it, and automated everything using technology (remember, that's what Peggy does for a living).

We don't use an 800 number that is often abused. If we did, we'd have to pass that expense on to you.

We don't hold our events at expensive hotels. We have access to excellent training facilities that can accommodate the small, intimate sessions we're known for.

We don't feed you. Wish we could, but if we did, we'd build that unnecessary expense into higher registration fees. As one of our students proclaimed in class, "I can eat later: I came here to learn." Our students bring their own lunch or eat when they leave.

PREREQUISITE
You MUST HAVE prior experience with the Windows environment, and it would be helpful if you have some knowledge of the software (if you're participating in the hands-on exercises). Without prior knowledge, you will impede the progress of others, and you might not be able to keep up. You can, however, come as an observer (fees still apply) to see how easy this stuff really is!

Go ahead and play around in the software before the training. It'll make that light bulb pop even quicker.

The instructor will be using PowerPoint 2000. Most people who come to this training using XP have been able to keep up, especially if they'd used the software before on a computer they were used to.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Busy executives, consultants, trainers, speakers, sales professionals, administrative assistants, small business owners, authors, publishers, and other corporate professionals. Anyone needing to use this software!

We are not serving food or beverages at this session. There are several eating establishments in the area. If we served food, we'd have to charge more for the workshop. As one attendee said during training, "I can eat later. I came here to learn!"

No special arrangements have been made for this workshop. Lots of hotels are in the area.

MISCELLANEOUS
This is an adult event. No exceptions.

Please be on time, which means coming 20-30 minutes before start time. It holds the class up when you're late.
